Since 2007, online courses on piping engineering have been successfully conducted, initially at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Zaragoza.
After the experience accumulated during these years, the new editions of the three online courses are carried out through the Foundation for Training and Studies in Industrial Installations of Zaragoza, named:
These courses are oriented to designers and draftsmen for professional practice in productive sectors such as chemical, petrochemical, refining, power generation (thermal, solar, nuclear power plants...), transport, construction...
Relevant Professional Profiles
The training is multidisciplinary, including the entire process of design and calculation in industrial fluid plants and installations, from basic concepts and applicable design codes at the origin of the project (ASME ANSI, ISA...), such as representation in P&ID diagrams, hydraulic calculation, design and selection of equipment, piping and tubing, materials, fittings, plant layout, 2D and 3D representation systems, process line tracing, stress analysis, flexibility and pipe supports, instrumentation and control... counting on the most advanced computer tools for installation design.
